Följ med på en unik guidad cykeltur från Sergels torg till Järva begravningsplats, ledd av Hampus Busk, kulturhistoriker och arkivarie vid Stockholms stadsarkiv samt ambassadör för Open House Stockholm.
Begravningsplatser har alltid spelat en central roll i stadsmiljön, och genom historien har vi hedrat och tagit hand om våra döda på olika sätt.
Under denna cykeltur får du en inblick i Stockholms moderna historia, med fokus på hur dödens plats i staden speglat samhällsutvecklingen. På vägen stannar vi i Norra begravningsplatsen, en av Sveriges största och mest anrika begravningsplatser.
Strax innan kl. 11:00 parkerar vi cyklarna och visningen övergår till en guidning av Järva begravningsplats och naturområde, den största begravningsplatssatsningen på 100 år i Stockholm, som visas upp av Stockholms kyrkogårdsförvaltning.
